 China in heart, back for business startups

“In a deeply homesick mood, I came back for business startups. As the third generation of Malaysia Chinese, to invest in mainland is on behalf of parents to make their wish come ture, that is to try our best for the construction of hometown.”Gu Runjin recalled his life experience in childhood to journalists. He was born in 1959 in Malaysia and his hometown is Zhongshan city,Guangdong province. At the beginning of 20^th century,his grandfather came to Malaysia and lived a hard life as a labor. “When I was in primary school,in order to relieve my parents’ burden, I wake up at 6 every day and need to send the large bundle of newspapers to the subscribers from house to house before 7 a.m. which can help earn a few coins to subsidize the family, then rushly back to school.At the teenage, I wish I can buy a motorcycle which can save a lot of time to deliver more newspaper and earn more money.”Gu Runjin said. The vast land, ancient culture, warm villagers and rapidly developed hometown economy which have made up his decision to serve his motherland and back for business startups.In 1994,Gu Runjin went back to Zhongshan City and found Perfect(China)Co., Ltd.,mainly produced the common consumer products such as healthy food,personal care products,household items,cosmetic and skincare products.GuRunjin explained,”The reason we named our company “Perfect” is that there is no perfect thing in the world,but I set it as a goal to keep persuing.I take actual actions to make perfect quality,be honest to enterprises and co-build a harmony society.I wish I can offer my strength to my country.”

Now,Perfect is a modernized Enterprise Group which owns 4 production bases and 8 wholly-owned subsidiaries from the previous small factory with the area of only few hundred square meters,realized the goal with annual sales over ten billion in RMB.At the same time,Perfect’s products and service has expanded to Hongkong, Thailand, Malaysia,Indonesia, Singapore,Taiwan,Vietnam and other countries and areas.

Enthusiasm for public welfare and charity

“I think,paying back for motherland is not just to build up factories by investment,we should do more on charity. When I started my business,I have donated RMB 100,000 to BOAI hospital of Zhongshan even my company has no profit. Everyone has an opinion about my donation,is that Gu Runjin just to make a show? Looking back now,I have sticked to make this show for 20 years,people now believe that I am really doing charity and public welfare .”Gun Runjin told the journalists with a smile.
