Out of this, the relevant departments have spared no effort to further promote the sustained and healthy development of the "health" industry in terms of the quality and safety supervision of health food and the clean-up and rectification of the direct selling industry.

Health food is still the focus of supervision in the direct selling industry

According to the information released on the official website of Jiangsu Province Market Supervision Bureau, in order to further strengthen the supervision of health food quality and safety, implement the requirements of the Food Safety Law on the construction of quality management system for health food production, and promote the improvement of health food quality and safety, the province and eight provinces (cities) such as Beijing and Guangdong have been designated as health food production enterprises by the State Administration of Market Supervision. Subsequently, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration issued the Circular of the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration on the Supervision, Sample Inspection Information and Verification and Disposal of Health Food in Guangdong Province in 2018, covering 2193 batches of health food, including 16 batches of substandard products.
