Recently, the municipal market supervision bureau, the Publicity Department of the municipal Party committee, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Municipal Bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism, and the Municipal Health Commission jointly issued a document to jointly organize and implement a one-and-a-half-year-long special clean-up and rectification action for the health food industry in the whole city. The rectification action will severely crack down on six major violations of health food.

Harbin market supervision bureau will further smooth the "12315" reporting and complaint channels, and encourage the masses to discover and report all kinds of illegal behaviors involving health food.

Seven key tasks of special rectification action

We will strictly investigate and punish the behaviors of producing and marketing health food without obtaining product registration certificate or filing certificate or without permission.

We will strictly investigate and deal with illegal acts such as not organizing production according to the approved contents, changing production process without authorization, and illegally adding non edible substances (drugs).

We will strictly investigate and deal with illegal acts of falsely publicizing health care functions such as health food labels, instructions and publicity materials, and illegally claiming the functions of disease prevention and treatment.

We will strictly investigate and punish the illegal acts of publishing health food advertisements without examination and publishing false health food advertisements.

We will strictly investigate and deal with fraudulent sales of health food through Internet, conference marketing, radio and television, and telephone marketing.

We will strictly investigate and punish the marketing of health food through pyramid selling and illegal direct selling.

We will extensively carry out publicity and education activities on health food science.
